About Looby Branch Library
December 8, 1976, Metro officials and friends of the late Dr. Z. Alexander Looby gathered to dedicate a new library, community center, and theater to the memory of the former Metro Councilman and civil rights leader.
The Main Library will close on August 19 for preventative maintenance, with an anticipated reopening in early October.
