Support the Library

Nashville Public Library Foundation

A strong library system is the heart of a strong city. At the Nashville Public Library Foundation, we invest in programs that help the library empower our community, ignite children’s imaginations, and foster lifelong learning throughout Nashville. Thanks to private donations, sponsorships, and partnerships, we are able to provide our neighborhoods with vital opportunities at no cost to participants, cultivating a better future for everyone. Friends of Nashville Public Library

Since 1957, Nashville’s Friends of the Library has been making waves, playing a pivotal role in bringing Nashville Public Library's mission to life. Our dedicated Friends work closely with their local branch staff helping to coordinate efforts, fundraise, and more to help the branch make a direct positive impact on the community. Each branch Friends of the Library group is a little different in what they help with and how they do it.
